About Us - Ian Redhead

Ian's early career was spent at the UK's Atomic Energy Research Establishment and at Cambridge Consultants. During the 80s, he founded an electronics consultancy serving the telecoms industry. In 1992 he joined the Pi Group - an automotive engineering consultancy - as Chief Engineer. He subsequently became Vice President of Pi's Indianapolis-based racecar business and eventually Managing Director of Pi's UK-based road car business, with a staff of 150.

Since leaving Pi in 2004, Ian has worked for clients in the TV, motor racing and ink jet printing industries. His particular strengths include bringing technology-based products to market and ensuring that they are engineered for high volume offshore manufacture.
